“Hard work produces positive results,” says Mr. Stanley, principal of Rand Park Primary School

Rand Park Primary School recently held their bi-annual education expo display on the 25 th of June 2009.The expo has been used for years as an opportunity for showcasing different work being done by learners from Grade one to Grade seven.

Teachers play a pivotal role in displaying all work being done by learners in their respective subjects, ranging from natural sciences, arts and culture. The school will also be unveiling its new computer centre which would be accessed by learners at least twice a week. Parents are also urged by teachers to give moral support to their children by donating some of the material needed for the expo.

The principal of the school Mr. Errol Stanley applauded his teachers for the level of commitment they have displayed in ensuring that this year's educational display becomes a success. He further said that teachers have been leaving the school late in the evening and also coming on weekends to ensure that everything is in place.

Parents are also invited to come to the school during the day to monitor the work of their children. The school has also aligned this display with the parents meeting in the evening for those who are working.

The school is also involved in other activities outside curriculum delivery in order to get the best out of the learners by introducing them to different sporting codes.

The principal further says that when he joined the school there had not been any major developments but with the vision that he had, he was able to achieve all the plans that he had put in place.

“With the commitment of teachers and the parents the school has done extremely well;” concluded Mr. Stanley.
