The Tshwane North District held a School Governing Body (SGB) Imbizo at the Suurman Community Hall recently to help encourage learners
The event offered motivation and inspiration to all Grade 12 learners to strive for excellence in preparation of the upcoming final National Senior Certificate exam.
Stakeholders from Hammanskraal and Soshanguve Secondary Schools SGB’s, Principals and RCL members’ participated at the event.
District Director, Shirley Moloi, urged SGB members and all parents to try their best to sustain their good Grade 12 pass rate targets for 2017. ???
“Struggles and courage are not always measured in victories and medals that we achieve, but with the struggles we overcome,” says Mme Moloi.
The best three academically performing learners, based on the June exams, from each school, were awarded gifts and certificates to motivate them to excel in the exam, be it prelim or final exams. A total of 82 learners were awarded for their hard work. A special award was also conferred upon the top two learners for overall performance from Hammanskraal and Soshanguve.
In addition, the District Director appealed to all the parents to motivate and inspire the Grade 12 learners to do well in the upcoming preliminary examinations. “
